My furry study buddy Meet my new study buddy – Bear

If you follow this blog you are probably thinking to yourself – this chick has got a puppy now, she is crazy.

Oh but how I love him. Bear and I are studying Employment Law this semester, it’s hard and I so enjoy it. Now you’re thinking, yip definitely crazy.

I have really enjoyed all the law papers that I have done. I do find it hard and if you’ve done a law paper and read an Act, the language that they use is slightly more difficult to understand than that of this blog.

We are also doing an extension to our home which means we are sleeping in the sleep out. My daughter has decided no more day-time sleeps for her, which results in a lot of my reading being done at night.

Picture employment law by head torch with Bear keeping my feet warm and that’s how this semester will play out for me. Granted it’s not ideal, but the readings still get done and I look forward to reading law cases to find out if I’m right in my thinking. Granted I don’t do this every night, the other night I watched a movie but they say all things in moderation right?

I guess what I’m getting at is that if you’re thinking about studying but something isn’t quite right in your life or you’re busy – you can still get this work done if you really want it.

The quote that I use often is ‘Never give up on a dream just because of the time it will take to accomplish it - the time will pass anyway’ Earl Nightingale. And it’s so true. Christmas will be here before we know it and I will be moving into my level 7 papers which I’m already slightly worried about.

I’m hopeful this will be completed in my study in our house extension which I’m very excited about getting. I will have a desk, a chair and everything, even a light – not a head torch, might even treat myself and get a flash lamp for in there.

Good on you if your studying out there in the chaos of everyday life – you’re not the only one doing it and whatever it is that you’re studying, you’re doing a great job, remember if it was easy everyone would be doing it.
